A2 Hosting is now hosting.com
A2 Hosting was founded in 2001 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In an announcement dated 28 April 2025, the company said A2 Hosting “is now hosting.com”, and that customers keep the same products and support. Existing server names still include “a2hosting.com”.
Does A2 Hosting have a Singapore data centre?
Yes. The company launched its Singapore data centre in 2015, alongside Amsterdam, for web hosting, reseller hosting and VPS services. Its knowledge base explains that you choose the data centre at sign-up, and that Singapore servers have names starting with “sg”. The other locations listed are Michigan and Arizona in the United States, and Amsterdam.
For a site whose visitors are mostly in Singapore and Southeast Asia, choosing the Singapore location reduces the distance between the server and your visitors. Pair it with a CDN for the best results.
What it offers
- Web hosting, WordPress hosting, reseller hosting, and managed or unmanaged VPS plans, according to its public site.
- 24/7 support. When we reviewed A2 Hosting in our original guide, hands-on support that fixed problems inside the account, rather than only sending help links, was its standout feature.
- A 30-day money-back guarantee, according to its public site.
What to check before choosing it
- Select the Singapore data centre at sign-up. Moving later may involve a migration.
- Compare introductory and renewal prices.
